Yvonne Stöcker rules Vollmerhauser Schützen

 

Gummersbach. The Vollmerhausen shooting club celebrated its 96th shooting festival. Yvonne Stöcker achieved royal dignity with the 91st shot. She took her husband Michael Stöcker as her king. He prevailed against five competitors. Martina Heckener won the title of sparkling wine queen this year with the 47th shot.

This year the child king was shot with a light point rifle for the first time. Zoe-Marie Scholz became the children’s queen.

The internal May kingbird was already shot out on Thursday. Ute Thomas won this with the 204th shot.

The emperor bird was shot out on Saturday. Frank Trudrung became emperor with the 50th shot. He took his wife Astrid Trudrung as his empress.

For the second time the beer king was eliminated. Members of a citizens' group from Vollmerhausen, the RKV groups and the shooting clubs present shot at the bird. Carmen Meuser, from the RKV group “Jecke Fründe”, got the bird with the 129th shot. She prevailed against 44 competitors.

After many years, the parade moved through the town on Saturday evening. The Vollmerhausen shooting club was musically accompanied by the Bröltaler Musikverein. The invited rifle clubs joined the rifle platoon, so that a long rifle platoon marched through the town to the rifle hall. The first chairman, Andreas Heckener, was able to welcome the guest clubs from Windhagen, Ründeroth, Dieringhausen, Bernberg and Remmelsohl as well as a delegation from the Oberberg Rifle Association on Saturday evening.

Ulla Becker and Rüdiger Irle were honored for their 40 years with the club, Karl-Wilhelm Schöler for his 50 years with the club.

The cover band Supreme once again created a great atmosphere in a fully occupied hall at the Schützenfest.

On Sunday morning the Bröltaler Musikverein played for a morning pint. and the first chairman Andreas Heckener welcomed the Mühle-Niederseßmar shooting club, as well as the guests of honor Mayor Frank Helmenstein, chairman of district 09 Dietmar Engel, city councilor Joachim Tump, honorary president of the OSB and shooting king of Derschlag Klaus Büser as well as the first chairman of the Ründeroth carnival club Klaus- Jürgen Merten.

The challenge trophies were presented to the shooters on Sunday afternoon. After the coronation of their majesties, the shooting festival came to an end.
