The participatory concert was enthusiastic
Rosbach (yes). As part of the music project “Music school goes KiTa”, the wind ensemble “Correlatif” visited the Vogelnest family center. The motto was “Classic is great”.
LuKi, a small hand puppet who has accompanied the children since the beginning of the music project, also visited. Luki loves music and he likes to play. That's why he wanted to make music and play with the ensemble “Correlatif” in the Vogelnest. Luki's toy box contained various toys that could be used to combine music with play and play with music. First the ensemble welcomed us with a cheerful piece of music. Afterwards there was a participatory song from Africa in the Kiswahili language: stand up, sit down, jump, clap, run. Afterwards, the bird's nest was fully awake and ready for the play surprises from Luki's toy box. In his box there was a jumping jack, a rag doll, a small music box and a red balloon. The various toys fit perfectly with the compositions of the Danish composer Nielsen. He had written appropriate “humoresque bagatelles”, such as “Guten Tag, gut Tag”, “The Music Box”, “The Jumping Jack” or “The Puppet March”. As the name “Participation Concert” suggests, everyone was invited to actively participate. There was waving, clapping, jumping jacks and marching. After so much action, a short break was a must. Everyone could relax and listen to a piece by Mozart. The piano piece “Für Elise” by Beethoven was danced to as easily as the melody. Finally, the red balloon was used. It was inflated with the help of the children and the song “My big, my round, my red balloon”. Unfortunately After this song, the wonderful excursion into the world of classical music came to an end. In the concert, the children and teachers experienced how much joy it is to listen to music and play games with music. At the same time, the children learned the instruments of the flute, oboe and clarinet and bassoon that the ensemble played with.
The family center would like to thank the “Correlatif” ensemble from the Bornheim Music School and is already looking forward to the next participation concert, probably in autumn this year.
The participatory concerts are financed by the Rhein-Sieg district as part of the music project “Music school goes KiTa”.
