“Rhein-Sieg Ladies” set new standards in the Rhein-Sieg district

A new volleyball power is forming in the Rhein-Sieg district: TuS Buisdorf, TSV Seelscheid and Hennefer TV have decided on a far-reaching cooperation. In the future, the three clubs will go together in the women's and girls' area under the name “Rhein-Sieg Ladies”. This strategic partnership aims to pool resources and take the promotion and development of female talent in volleyball to a new level.

The department heads Oliver Neef (TSV Seelscheid), Dr. Rainer Hammermann (TuS Buisdorf) and Daniel Schad (Hennefer TV) and their teams have worked intensively on implementing the concept over the past few months. “We are convinced that by combining our strengths, structures and resources, the development opportunities for female players will be significantly improved,” explains Oliver Neef.

The “Rhein-Sieg Ladies” project will include both the youth and adult sectors and is primarily intended to increase the visibility and attractiveness of women’s volleyball in the region. Dr. Rainer Hammermann emphasizes the importance of this initiative: “We are not just concerned with sporting success, but also with the social component of sport. We want to offer young players an environment in which they can develop optimally both physically and personally.”

Daniel Schad adds: “The cooperation enables us to use shared training facilities, employ specialized trainers and offer our players access to higher leagues without having to limit our commitment to beginner and popular sports.” The “Rhein-Sieg Ladies” plan to compete in different age groups in the coming season and to establish themselves in the upper leagues in the medium term.

The three clubs agree that the founding of the “Rhein-Sieg Ladies” is an important step for volleyball in the region and are looking forward to the challenges and opportunities that this new partnership will bring. By joining forces, they want to make volleyball sport more attractive and successful for women and girls in the Rhein-Sieg district.
